The IronKey D300SM from Kingston protects data with high-quality password protection. It also complies with the highest FIPS 140-2 Level 3, the highest achievable certificate for mobile USB storage media. In addition, the stick uses shielded firmware, protecting it from malware viruses such as BadUSB. Thanks to the SuperSpeed (USB 3.0) technology, file transfers are not only safe but also very fast. The rugged casing protects the drive from physical attacks and is waterproof. This means that the internal components are protected by a hardened epoxy layer for even more security.

The D300SM supports SafeConsole from DataLocker. This allows the access to and use of thousands of drives to be managed centrally. Based on the cloud or its own SafeConsole server, it uses specific settings. Some examples are: setting policies such as password strength, limit the number of incorrect login attempts, disabling lost or stolen drives remotely, recovering forgotten passwords and much more.
