With the MicroConnect adapter you can extend UTP or patch cables with a throughput of 1 Gbit/s. Please note that the total length of the network cables is not longer than ~100 meters. This in connection with signal loss. If in doubt, make sure you amplify the signal with an additional LAN switch.
