Apricorn Fortress L3 2TB SSD - FIPS

The Apricorn Fortress L3 SSD external hard drive has a rugged casing. This drive is portable in pocket size, so you can safely carry your data wherever you go.

Like all other Apricorn hard drives, the Fortress SSD is software free, hardware encrypted (256-bit AES XTS) and equipped with a PIN code on board with a USB 3.1 data transfer. All data is encrypted on the fly and the PIN remains encrypted at all times. All internal components are protected from physical attacks by a layer of hardened epoxy and also meet the highest FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification. In addition, the firmware is locked to prevent malware viruses such as BadUSB.
