The DataLocker K350 and DL4 hard drives are PIN-code protected devices with an OLED display (no manual required). The drive features FIPS 140-2 Level 3, Criteria EAL 5+ certified secure microprocessor and can optionally be secured by SafeConsole management via the cloud or on-premise.

A range of automated security policies protect your data wherever you are. SafeConsole allows administrators to control or terminate devices entirely via the internet.

What is SafeConsole Management software from DataLockerr

SafeConsole is a simple management platform from DataLocker where you can remotely manage USB storage media (SafeConsole ready devices) and USB ports. Track the deployment of secure storage media, virtual drives, USB ports and audits from anywhere in the world.

Which platforms are compatible with SafeConsole?

SafeConsole runs on a Windows Server. In addition, you can manage SafeConsole in the cloud (via DataLocker hosted services) as well as on-premises with Active Directory support. In addition, you can also manage SafeConsole's own cloud server via Microsoft Azure or via Amazon's AWS. You can read more technical information in the manual or behind our knowledge base.

What is PortBlocker by DataLocker and how does it work?

PortBlocker from DataLocker works through the SafeConsole management platform. You whitelist every USB storage media. You install a PortBlocker agent software. This is available for Windows and MacOS systems. Moreover, with PortBlocker you prevent untrusted USB storage media, malware and viruses from being installed on your computers. You need at least a SafeConsole Start Pack for this. Licences are concluded for 1 to 3 years per system.

What is DataLocker SafeCrypt and how does it work?

SafeCrypt from DataLocker can easily be used in conjunction with the SafeConsole platform and is also useful when USB storage media is not allowed within the organisation. SafeCrypt ensures that individual users can store their data securely and that there is flexibility in choosing to keep it in the cloud, locally or within the network.
